Description:Tinder Foundation’s purpose is to make good things happen through digital technology. We support the 21% of the UK population who aren’t regular internet users, providing practical solutions to the barriers to digital inclusion: skills, access and motivation. We provide inspiration, leadership, tools and services to people, communities and organisations to help them close the digital divide. We want everyone to share in the potential digital technology has to deliver large scale and lasting social and economic change, and to improve lives. We teach digital skills through our network of 5,000 UK online centres who run informal digital learning courses using our Learn My Way platform, which hosts 30+ free online courses. The network includes a broad range of different organisations, including community organisations, libraries, churches, cafes and pubs. 91% of UK online centres are located in the top 10% most deprived wards in the UK, and are experts in catering to the needs of their local community.
